Next Steps

The next steps for Mapleton Early College (MEC) leadership and staff include preparation of a one month, three month, and six month action plan to map out broad goals and concrete action items for moving their school-wide numeracy initiative forward. This process has already begun and will continue over the course of the next few weeks with support provided, when requested, by AHSI Math/QR leadership and MINT participants.

Mapleton EC has also volunteered to take part in yet another new process – the Big Picture Learning Peer Review. Participation in this review will provide Mapleton EC yet another opportunity to share their concerted efforts around numeracy, have these efforts and measured growth validated, and map out long-term goals intended to move the numeracy bar even further. The Mapleton EC “QR Quest” for excellence continues.
