As of October 1, 2009, AHSI represents nine organizations that are committed to leading - through innovation and intentional collaboration - a national response to educate all youth. A membership application process is being developed, and soon new candidates will be reviewed and accepted based on adherence to standards of excellence that will be based on the AHSI Distinguishers. The membership structure and benefits will be designed to foster a well regarded community of practice that contributes to the wider field.
